Dimitri Finker is a French hobbyist photographer currently installed in Germany, sharing his time between Frankfurt and Nuremberg. In the past 10 years, he has lived and worked in numerous countries, including Austria, Belgium, the United States, France and Germany.

Dimitri initially studied music and physics. He learned the fundamental of photography with two all-manual-sovietic-style cameras : a Zenit SLR, from a trip to Minsk (Belarus) and a FED rangefinder from Karkov (Ukraine).

In the recent years, Dimitri has been essentially shooting political events, corporate meetings and on-location portraits. Mastering the technique of remote off-camera flashes, he brings a unique dynamism and vitality to the candid shots of the events.
